Ashley is honored to join and continue the work of (X) Collective, recognizing that we can only advance through a Sankofa mentality, reaching back to honor history, community, and ancestral wisdom as we build forward.

Ashley S. Jordan is a Milwaukee-based community advocate and leader. Her past leadership includes serving as Director of Arts and Cultural Programming at Black Arts MKE, where she helped expand access to arts education for thousands of young people annually. Her programming and teaching artistry is an expansion of her roots including PEARLS for Teen Girls, United Way, UPAF, First Stage Children's Theatre, Pink Umbrella Theatre Company, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Milwaukee Youth Theatre, Waukesha Civic Theatre, and many more.

Ashley’s work aligns deeply with (X) Collective’s commitment to theatre, community, memory, and transformation. She believes the arts are a powerful tool for preserving culture, building relationships, and creating spaces where future generations can see themselves, speak boldly, and lead with purpose. You may see her work in the fall directing Lynn Nottage's Clyde's at Waukesha Civic Theatre. She is grateful to her aunts and grandmother.
