"The individuals in a group are not just random strangers, they have relationships with each other. They give a shit about each other. ..This is where the magic of a community happens. When people care about each other, they develop trust. And trust unlocks collaboration, sharing, support, hope, safety, and much more.”

- Fabian Pfortmüller | Together Institute

Why a collective?

Sure, we could be a company, an organization, a group… we are a collective because we are individuals acting together. We share our time, our resources, and our energy in service of community and humanity. We work together. We play together. (And sometimes both at the same time).

In a time when we so often feel isolated and powerless, we are striving to push against that by building community with intention. We are empowered by our relationships. We are the solution. We are the missing pieces.

How to join the collective

Step 1: Fill out an interest form

  • We’ll ask you questions about the roles you hold in the field and some of your skill sets. This is not meant to be a vetting tool but rather a means to get to know you.

  • Additionally, we want to make sure we have a wide representation of roles and identities represented.

Step 2: Schedule a conversation with us

  • We’ll discuss your goals, your values, and get to know each other.

  • You may decide this isn’t for you, and that’s okay!

Step 3:  Check-Ins

We’ll check in bi-annually to make sure the relationship is still working and that you’re getting what you need. However, you’re welcome to exit as a member of the collective at any time.
